You’ll be a thousand different versions of M O M
And every. single. one matters.
Parenthood is a forever sort of thing. Yet each phase is fleeting — it creates a new version of you, a new story of your family.
From those early days when that tiny human needs you for everything and you try to replace sleep with coffee. When their world opens up, yet they run back to you for kisses and snuggles and more snacks than you thought one tummy could fit. Even as they look to the horizon and create their own story …
You’ll always be MOM.
Whew — that’s a little bittersweet, but it’s true! You’ll always be the person who was their very first idea of home.
Every new version of you, of them belongs
to a tiny sliver of time that slips by faster than we can ever imagine.
Yet the images that fill your home
keep the memories alive.
Your chaos is my canvas
I hear you! I can’t tell you how many moms have worried about their toddler. (Because us moms have been worrying about toddlers since the term “man cave” was literal.) But trust me; I have four kids of my own. There is nothing — and I mean nothing — I haven’t seen before.
Seen it. Laughed about it. Then taken some of my favorite photos of it.
I do what I do because I’ve been where you are — wanting to be in the photo but not yet confident about the body motherhood has given me, nervous my kids are going to lose their little minds in front of the camera, losing my mind trying to coordinate everything. But then I get those precious photos back and all those worries go poof.
And because I’ve been there, Mama, I do everything in my power to make sure all your worries go poof too.
Let’s swap parenting stories.
XOXO,
Britt
Wait, scratch that. You definitely don’t have to collect all those memories alone. As your Coeur d’Alene family photographer, I devote my energy to helping you preserve all your memories. I work to make sure you’re not just snapping some selfies, but having an experience together where every detail is taken care of, every question answered. And this is the important part — every bit of stress, managed

There’s something special that happens when you can actually run your fingers over a memory. You’ll notice your daughter’s untameable cowlick reflected in that old black and white snapshot of your grandpa. Or the way your son’s eyes crinkle when he laughs just like you. You notice when you have the space to linger over an image, when it’s not just something to swipe past on your phone.
Printed art becomes a legacy that knits you together with the past generations and the future ones too. Someday, it’ll be your kids flipping through your albums, pointing out the little traits and mannerisms that span decades … someday it’ll be their kids.
That legacy starts when you make those memories tangible.
